U022 - Top 10 Cosmetic Procedure Complications and How to Fix Them

Friday, February 16; 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Learning Objectives

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Identify the sequelae of cosmetic procedure complications
  • Evaluate possible treatment and corrective measures for most common cosmetic procedure complications
  • Implement a treatment plan to minimize or reverse sequelae of cosmetic procedure complications.

According to a recent ASDS survey, the public perceives dermatologists to be experts in the cosmetic treatment of the skin. For this reason, dermatologists perform a large number of cosmetic procedures and manage complications associated with these procedures. In addition, dermatologists are often referred patients who have suffered from complications performed by other physicians in the community. This course will enable practicing dermatologists to recognize and treat the 10 most common complications of cosmetic procedures. The course will also emphasize best practices and protocols to avoid these complications from occurring.
