Learning Objectives

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Discuss skin cancer prevention methods, skin screening guidelines and the use of imaging techniques in organ transplant recipients.
  • Describe the use of non surgical and field therapy, as well as evolving systemic treatments for skin cancer.
  • Identify common nail and skin disease in transplant patients.

Description

This session highlights the management of various skin disease and skin cancer in organ transplant recipients and is targeted towards the general dermatologist as well as anyone involved in the care of transplant patients. Skin cancer prevention, skin screening guidelines, non invasive imaging, as well as treatment options with field therapies, and evolving systemic therapies will be presented.
