Learning Objectives

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Diagnose the most common causes of hair loss in women including female pattern hair loss, chronic telogen effluvium, frontal fibrosing alopecia and central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA)
  • Effectively treat female pattern hair loss with a variety of standard and newer treatments including PRP and microneedling
  • Discuss the current management techniques of CCCA, frontal fibrosing alopecia and fibrosing alopecia in a pattern distribution
