F098 - Staying General in Dermatology: Experiences from Across Multiple Institutions

Sunday, March 3; 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Learning Objectives

Following this course, the attendee should be able to:

  • Identify methods to initially evaluate and treat patients presenting with challenging dermatologic diagnoses.
  • Develop strategies to continue to provide for continuity of dermatologic care to your challenging dermatologic patients.

Description

We all began our training as general dermatologists, however, in modern medicine; trends often move us towards even further specialization within each specialty. How then, in this era are we to retain our skills in general dermatology which are required to run a successful general dermatology clinic seeing a diverse range of patients with a myriad of diagnoses. This forum will use a case based structure to provide succinct usable knowledge to dermatologists who practice general dermatology, with the ultimate goal of this forum being to facilitate dermatologist’s ability to maintain ownership of their patients by providing holistic dermatologic care.
