  • Diagnose and treatment medication-related adverse side effects from common IBD treatments

Description

Inflammatory Bowel Disease presents with numerous cutaneous manifestations - erythema nodosum, pyoderma gangrenosum and others -- as well as direct cutaneous involvement with IBD lesions on the skin. Patients receiving anti-TNF treatment for IBD also may develop psoriasiform drug reactions in addition to other adverse side effects. This talk aims to review cutaneous IBD, the associated dermatological conditions these patients may experience as well as the cutaneous side effects of medications used to treat IBD.
